Zombonol were: Tim Miedecke, Scott Lang, Chris Thiele, Mick Sfetkidis and Adrian Fenech and hailed from Melbourne, Australia. During the mid 90’s they recorded the 10 songs you find here today.

They played 50 shows around town, plus some regional action, and at one point found themselves storming the Tivoli in Adelaide to an empty room. A road-trip where you could say they literally lost the shirts off their backs…but barely noticed, due to high times and shenanigans being had.

Lyrically they wore heart on sleeve, along with some blood, snot and tears, and musically Zombonol were a true punk/metal hybrid. They were also referred to as Taco-Metal: a lot of meat with a little bit of cheese. About half of their live shows were staged at "The Rose of Australia" in Williamstown – affectionately known to the locals as The Broken Nose. A place where if your band wanted to play – you'd better move the pool table first and BYO chicken-wire.

Sometime in 1998 things began to wind down...as paid employment, study, and half of the band being active members of Frankenbok, began to take its toll.

In 2020, when the DAT tapes were discovered in the boot of a car, (along with a shovel, some lime, and a length of rope,) the choice was obvious – the world should be subjected to this madness.

So it was pimped-out and remastered for the 21st Century and reissued…for the first time.
